Old age card. Heh.
"How do you hold on to an angel?"

"Hook em by the wing joint. You know where it jogs in there? Clip or a claw... a snare would do it."

She rings it up and takes his cash. Then hands him the keys to a car the size of a mini-cooper.

(OOC sorry for the delay in posting, I was debating putting it on the credit card, then life ogt away from me for a few days)

Luke looks skeptically at the keys and says, "Are you sure I'll fit?"

"OK then," says Luke taking the keys.  "Do we need to do some sort of inspection or am I good to go?"

Luke says, "Thanks" and takes the keys and heads out the door to the car giving a jovial wave as he exists.  Once he gets to the car he gets in and starts it up, then he checks the controls and familiarizes himself with where the light and wiper controls are and how they work.  He also checks where the controls for the interior light controls are and turns it off.  Then he puts it in gear and pulls away.  He will drive a few miles away and find a parking lot. He pulls in and checks the glove box and then the trunk.  He looks to see what is in each and how large the trunk is.  He also checks the spare tire, jack and any tools associated with it.

There is very little trunk or glove box room. However the donut spare is almost the same size as a regular tire.

It is a scissor jack, and the handle doubles as a tire wrench, with a flat end to turn the screw lifting the jack.

Luke grunts in disgust, Not even a half 'arse' tool kit!  He gets back in the car and drives home.  Once there he will park the car in the barn and begin cooking diner.

It is a long drive and it's late when he gets home. There doesn't appear to have been anyone there in his absence.

(ooc:  it is still Monday night right--I was not in custody more than 12 hours?)
Luke will see what he has in the fridge and throws together a quick meal of left overs.  then he heads to bed.  Maybe some rest will help me see things clearer in the morning.  Luke gets ready for bed and as he lays down does something he hasn't done since Stephanie passed.  As he lays there in bed he prays to God that Chance is safe and that he can find a way to help him out of this mess.  He hopes that Chance will show up at the meeting the Alanon meeting the next night and that he can meet him in the bar.
