When Luke wakes up it's drizzling.
"How do you hold on to an angel?"

"Hook em by the wing joint. You know where it jogs in there? Clip or a claw... a snare would do it."

As the alarm goes off, Luke struggles to wake up.  Despite the overwhelming desire to roll over and go back to sleep he drags his arse out of bed and staggers to the shower. The water helps wake him up.  He dresses quickly and grabs his check book and heads downstairs.  He gathers the eggs and feeds the chickens and rabbits.  I hate to give the animals up, but there is no way I can bring them with us.  So do I offer them to a neighbor or slaughter them and bring them as food.  Leaving the animals will give the appearance that I plan on returning.  So I leave the animals well at least most of them.  Who to offer them to?  Hammersmiths have three kids that is probably the best bet.

Luke heads in and makes himself breakfast.  Then he heads upstairs and packs a suitcase of cloths, he packs for winter but includes a few sets of warmer weather cloths too.   He carries the suit case out to the van.  Then he goes back to the chicken coop and grabs the PVC tubes holding the guns and the ammo boxes and loads them into the van, making sure they are hidden under other items and obscured from all sides.  Then he returns to the rabbit hutch selects two that he quickly dispatches and cleans.  He places them in a cooler with whatever ice is in the freezer.  Then the goes to the chicken coop and selects the largest hen.  This too he dispatches and guts, not having time to pluck it he removes the feet, neck, and wing tips.   Then he places the bird in a plastic bag and puts the bag in the cooler.  He carries the cooler out to the van.  Next he goes around the house and collects half a dozen of the largest warmest blankets that he can find and puts them in the van.  Then he returns and grabs 4 pillows and adds them to the van.

Luke checks his watch.  8:00 I only have about a half hour to finish up.  He returns to the house and grabs his toilet kit.  Then he grabs all of the toilet paper from the house he can find and adds the toilet paper and his toilet kit to the growing pile in the van.  Next he returns to the kitchen and collects his knives and sharpening steel, including a bread knife, a few paring knives, the large and small chef’s knives, two boning knives, a cleaver, and the long fillet knife.  He adds these to the van.  He returns to the house and retrieves the fishing gear that he and Chance used just a few days before, and places it in the van too.

(OOC  I recalled taking about reloading equipment at one time during character gen, but I didn't see it in the equipment list and don't know if that is something that he could have had.  Also I don't recall the starting cash, but thought that there was a fair bit left after the equipment I purchased.  If you can tell me what the starting $$ was I can recalculate the total available.)

(Sorry for the delay. Was out for a long time on vacation. He could have reloading equipment. I would allow it.)
