From the ICE website.  Either ictus or Lord Miller mentioned it, I can't remember which or even what the context of the conversation was.  I had seen the banner ad but I rarely give much notice to banner ads.

Threw one thousand monkeys at a typewriter, one of them missed and stuck here...

...actually, was dragged here kicking and screaming by a friend, lost track of it in a storm, and was lured back with promises of wine and fried rice.

One often meets his destiny on the road he takes to avoid it.

Hello, I'm new here (though i've been playing old pen-and-paper RPGs for more than 15 years now).

Since It's been quite difficult to find suitable players (not to mention gamemasters) lately, I've been searching for a nice place to roleplay online.

I came here through Google (which, as everybody knows, is a search engine powered by Yog-Sottoth).

Nice to meet you!

I happened by this establishment via a mention on Greg Stafford's (Guy who writes Pendragon 5e) forum.

[Not actually a member of said forum, i was just snooping around trying to find out why there are no copies of the Book of Knights and Ladies to be had ]

A friend referred me to the site (I believe it was AzgrymnThePale).  It's nice to see roleplaying-related forums that aren't D20-focused for a change.

As a gamer, though, I didn't really find out about systems other than D20 until a few years ago, when I joined my college gaming group.  Since then, most of my gaming experience has been with that system, along with the White Wolf Storyteller System (mainly nWoD and Scion), some Palladium (friends have tried to start up Rifts, Heroes Unlimited, and Systems Failure games without success, unfortunately), TSR Marvel, GURPS 4e (those two games died too, sadly), and Chaos 6010 A.D.  I'm interested in learning to play and/or run any game or system, as long as it allows players and the GM to experience a good story and/or character interaction.  Most of my gaming these days is done by play-by-post or virtual table top, sadly, since my friends and I can only get together once or twice a week to actually sit around a table and play.

Thanks for the welcome, and I'll be sure to have a look at some of the games featured here, along with the resources offered.  Hope to see you all around the site!

Welcome and well met and I hope that this, your first post, is the first of many more....

You can only meet for face-2-face once or twice a week..............last time I managed to play face-2-face was about 20 years ago :(

Googling every conceivable combination of words that would help me locate a Runequest game in L.A.  (still looking btw).
