So I re-did the sheets for the pre-gen characters. I moved totals up to 195 and you all should be pretty tight. Got two archtypes. 1-scout 2-soldier. Let me know what you want and we can work on backstory.

I will indeed be using those rules. I like them, and they give a bit of flavor to the game. I might hold back on a couple of them if for instance there is a large group fight. I am all for eccentric RP and fighting. If you can convince me that it works, then by all means........

There are the character sheets. Tell me what you want, get me a description of the character and I will work with you on backstory. Let me know your names and all. Then I will give you your own topic area.

Never mind. Answered my own question:

Southern Brooklyn has long been a Mecca to new immigrants. In the late 19th and early 20th centuries it was ethnic Jews, Irish and Italians who settled here. In the 50s and 60s, African-Americans migrated from the South to live and work in New York City. Many settled in Coney Island where there was newly constructed affordable housing. From the late 1970s through the early 1990s, Brighton Beach became known as Little Odessa because it became the home of refugees fleeing religious and political persecution in the former Soviet Union. In the last 10 years, immigrants from many parts of the world have made southern Brooklyn their home as they sought a better life for themselves and their children.

And as in many of the areas of Brooklyn there are Hispanic communities as well. Mostly Puerto Rican and Dominican.
