Dostoya vs Rafe
« on: January 21, 2009, 03:20:41 AM »
This is how it would start.

SPD/DEX

Dostoya is 4/18
Rafe is 8/30

Dostoya acts on 3,6,9,12
Rafe acts on 2,3,5,6,8,9,11,12

With 12 more Dex, rafe always has init within a phase. . .

OCV/DCV/ECV

Dostoya is 6/6/10
Rafe is 10/10/4
Area attacks go against 3 DCV, unless they are adjacent, then it's 0 DCV.

Dostoya needs a 7- to hit Rafe on 3d6.
Rafe needs a 15- to hit Dostoya on 3d6.
Dostoya needs a 17- to hit Rafe with an Ego based attack.

PD/ED
Dostoya 10/10
Rafe 8/8

CON/BOD/STN

Rafe 20/20/40
Dostoya 18/11/24

Rafe has an Ego of 13, which I'm sure will come up.

Assuming it's copacetic with sorloc, we need stats to replace tony's.

Those piles of rebar and concrete are 1 hex high around the edges, and 2 hexes high in the middle hex (2 meters, and 4 meters high respectively) so they block line of sight.

Tony = Vladimir Dostoya???

You'll be needing ECV listed there...

"How hard can it be?" -- Indiana Jones (Harrison Ford), Temple of Doom (1984)

In that some box, how much of D's ED/PD is resistant? (PDr/EDr)

Just to save having to ask on phase 12, you're going to need Line of Sight, or some sort of indirect targeting ability to use Ego powers on Rafe, so figure out what your indirect attack/indirect sensing ability is, it's range and details and all that, as this board is full of barriers to LOS per reply #2. ( if D can fly, he can quickly get LOS on the whole arena. . .or if he has 20" of clair-something, or 20" of some non LOS sense.)

ECV is 10
I have no rPD/rED
I have 4 range levels, tight group

Anything else I need to give you? and excuse me for being a bit silly but I never played a mentelist before. What is my hit on Rafe for an Ego attack?

17-

Does anything on that sheet say "Indirect" is there a "sense" power on the sheet? If not, likely you'll have to mind scan to find and lock on to Rafe, unless you wait for LOS.

Nope. I will have to Mind Scan you or find LOS. With the range levels I don't have a disability to target you from afar which is good.

This will likely be pretty fast.

Rafe 1/2 moves 3 hexes, picks up a chunk of Rebar and a softball sized chunk of concrete.

Your go mind man.

Vladimir moves 6" to the right and tries to find a line of sight with Rafe

that was (for rafe)

3" move -1 END
pick up, I'll overestimate -2 END

40-3=37

Phase 2
Rafe moves 6", sees D
37-1=36

Phase 3
Rafe moves 3", to hide behind another pile to break LOS.
36-1=35

D's go
