Taking a mouthful of his beer, he looks towards where the others are looking and smiles.

Alex

Alex hears very little of what is said, but he is quick to note his companions body language.  He looks to the approaching guards and tries to assess their demeanor.

Jaemie

Jaemie shifts his weight in his seat ever so slightly, ready to get to his feet quickly, hand still holding his now empty glass.
Of course, he is now telling himself not to be so cocky, but the Welsh in him senses the potential for a fight.

Hello, IT, did you turn it off and turn it on again?

Don't think of it as being vastly outnumbered. Consider it a target-rich environment.

Dale lets the guards cut the path through the crowd, following along jovially in their wake being wary not to spill his beer.

He winks at his friends from behind the guards as the pile up near the table starts.

Trevor

*to an untrained eye, Trevor seems peacefully calm and relaxed. A trained eye might even miss the slight tension near his forearms. A blank face with a neutral stare is about all you'll get from him*

The Doctor continues a little as the guards approach.
"They weren't careful enough, and now the specimens have hatched and escaped and are running loose!"

The guards reach the table at this point, one of them approaches the Doctor while the others look around, perhaps a little nervously, though trying not to show it, at those of you sitting at the table.  They don't seem to notice Dale standing behind them and grinning.

"Doctor Elliot, can you please come with us?  I think you've bothered these fine folks enough. I'm sure they are't interested in your fanciful tales. "
The guard starts reaching for the Doctor's arm, looking like he is getting ready to 'assist' him in leaving the bar.

Dale slings an arm around the shoulders of the guard doing the talking and reaching, grabs a handful of his clothes on the opposite shoulder.

"Haaay! How are you guys!"

Takes a pull off his beer.

"I was talking to that foxy brunette at the bar, she's an environmental tech! She loves the pilot stories. . .I want to get back over there, but I think it was my turn to buy a round. It's my turn right?"

Looks at the guard funny, as if seeing him for the first time.

"Wait, you're not Trevor. Who are you?"

Takes another pull off the beer, arm still around the guy's shoulders.

Alex

Alex steps forward and places the beverages on the table, "Actually, I just bought the round and the good doctor was just sitting down to join us." He gestures from the doctor to the empty chair and then continues, "Unfortunately I don't have enough for you guys too. I guess you'll just need to go get your own." Alex finished his comment as he turns to square up with the guards and placing himself alongside the doctor. "Now, if you don't mind, we'd like to get back to enjoying our evening."

"Oh, I really think the doctor should come with us, it's really a Company issue, nothing for you fine fellows to be concerned with.  Have another couple rounds courtesy of Midas Corporation for your troubles" says the lead guard.

The doctor looks around nervously, starts to sit down in the empty chair, then says "maybe I should go..., I don't want to cause a big problem..., but, then again, the stations safety is at stake..."
He sort of bounces up and down a little, starting to sit, then starting to get up, then starting to sit again.

"It's OK Doc. Take a seat" Alex directs the doctor without looking away from the leader of Midas security. "We really appreciate your offer, but it wouldn't be proper for us to accept such a gift - government regulations and all. Now we'd like to continue with our evening if you wouldn't mind...". Alex pauses before adding "Taking a hike."

Kym

Stands up from the table and  walks around to a guard (not the lead guard). Smiling a practised smile and clasping his hands together in front of his body in an appealing gesture he says in a friendly manner, "Look, none of us want this" he waves his hands to indicate the group and guards, "to escalate any further. I'm sure Midas doesn't want the bad publicity of having a public scene.....the Doc here isn't Midas property, he's a private citizen enjoying his time off. We, on the other hand, are government property.....and no one wants trouble with the government....do they?"

Mina

Seeing the way the guards are acting Mina will get up making room for the doctor next to her.  She will gush, "It is about time you arrived I was so bored with just these guys,"  She will smile at the doctor.  "I hope you didn't mind them coming along on our date"  She will look at the guards, "Do your guards need to come too, I told my group that they would have to give us some privacy.  We so rarely get to be alone together"

She is looking at the doctor and will wisper in his ear  "play along"

Dale

Goes stiff at the Doctor's comments.

"Station safety? You better explain yourself right now, and you better not be joking."

Taking a long, slow swig of his beer (which at this stage is annoyingly warm), he listens to what's going on at the table, but also watches the "guards" carefully. With no weapons on-hand, he's currently trying to calculate the easiest way to eliminate the guards unarmed. The glass beer-pitcher at his right hands is looking very tempting ...
