Just for the record...

So far as I know, Dex is the only one of this bunch who is here because he's on the clock. Yes I know, the Rev. "fixed" that with Muse. Fine and good, but Muse isn't my issue, he hasn't fixed it with my crew.
My guys like working with me cos they know I watch out for em, that I'll go to bat for em if I need to, and that I won't dump on em. I can't just vanish on em without a word. So I suppose Theo takes charge of the gig til I get back, I apologize to him for this, and let him know I'll be talking to Muse concert services and payroll both in the morning and making sure he's in the records as being the one who ran it, and gettin paid at that rate rather than as a lead hand. That's the least I can do for him having to clean up my mess, and as far as I'm concerned I still owe him.
That either happens face to face before I go anywhere with the Reverend or it's happening by cell phone before I really have much else to say. I like the man, I respect him, blah blah blah. That doesn't mean I'm gonna drop everything for him.

I felt like this needed to be said, needed to be publicly on record, but really didn't need to be slowing the psychological pace of the 'Vigil' thread.

No problem.  For the record, the Rev. McDougal would wait until you wrapped up things as best you could.  Though he would make it clear that he really wants to speak with you this night.  Your crew would have seen you at least pass out up on stage, and may even have thought that the woman attacked you (it occurred about the same time).  Theo would also be willing to help after what you did for him the day after the Braves game.  He also knows that you'll be good for it.  One last thing, the Rev. and his assistants will also make sure to tell people that he is going to get you to his personal doctor to see to you (a partial truth).

Now there's a point. If there's anyone at that gig whose opinions I'd trust, it's the people who were getting paid to be there and paid to have their eyes on that stage, paying attention to what's going both right and wrong. The crew.
I'll have to remember to go around askin them what happened next time I get a chance. That it may have appeared to be impossible won't keep me from getting accurate descriptions, these guys see the impossible happen on stages all the time. Making the impossible happen is their job.

Note re: being able to get clear descriptions from trained observers who were looking when it happened. I need to mention that to the Rev at some point. If we don't already have it on video somewhere, the guys on the stage crew were there, were looking, and are good at describing events in terms of how the senses perceive them. It's a job skill.

Also give em Ashton's number, he can help with the data collection/analysis, "exactly what the hell is happening" part of this.
