What future purchases you got planned?
« on: September 22, 2009, 10:46:20 AM »
Hi Guys,

Just wondered what people are looking to pickup in the next few months?

My wish list is:-

  • Rogue Trader (The more I read, the more I want and I don't even like sci-fi)
  • WHFRP 3 (yes, no, err maybe, how much!!!)
  • AD316
  • Weird War II
  • Kerberos Club
  • Hardboiled (I won't hold my breath!!)
  • Unhallowed Metropolis (Don't want a pdf, but the shipping is too much)

Well thats a start!!!

Regards,

BigSteveUK

Rogue Trader is a must! I'll probably be running a game once I get a hang of the book...

...And that's all really, aside from catching up on the MnM supplements that I don't have.

I think that 3rd edition WFRP looks oh so pretty.....but I don't know.....

Rogue Trader...when it comes out

I was impressed by Dark Heresy. But less so by the support it got from Black Industries. some of the Fan stuff is excellent though.

Also interested in Wierd War II, not so by the fact that it's D20. Liked it more when re-hasehed as Gurps... plus Gurps produced a lot of World war source books.

Judge Dredd (powered by the revised Mongoose Traveller rules...although doesn't give rules for Psy-Judges) and also Strontium Dog. Spoke to the publishers, apparently they will be releasing a ABC Warriors.. version too.

Apart from that, it all depends what I stumble upon in the bring and buys at my local conventions!

Snap just came across Strontium Dog, I was avoiding all this traveller stuff, but dredd, strontium and ABC are all very tempting!!!

Oh an the new Weird War II is all Savage Worlds, as system I really like.

Sadly it's about six months away (but I'm just happy the setting is being supported again...) -

Delta Green: Targets Of Opportunity

(Oh, and you'll likewise find Rogue Trader, WHFRP3 and the 2000AD stuff on my list...)

I have fond memories of the old Judge Dredd (the 80's version....can't remember who published that).

I'll get Strontium Dog and ABC warriors for sure.

When I look out there, it makes me glad I'm not you.

It was Games Workshop, back when they made stuff that wasn't Warhammer Fantasy/40k.

Whilst they held the licence they also made a fun boardgame set in the Judge Dredd world called Block Mania.

And now I'm trying to resist the urge to hunt for a copy on eBay...

Agreed! Plenty of stuff can be played with cyberboard.

The Colosseum (Gladiator) is going great guns.
