I'm fine with it either way, depends on how much drama you want on the home front. On the positive side he'd fit in better with a kid or kids.

How do you like your blueeyed boy Mr. Death?

Nah, it was more just a funny for me.
I'm pretty sure there would be enough shooting blanks so that being childless wouldn't affect his social situation.
Next step is Attributes, or you could look at advantages and disadvantages etc. I figure him for starting as a 100 point character.

He will have the automatic advantages of
Unaging 15
Disease-Resistant 5
Fast Regeneration 50
Regrowth 40
I believe these were the advantages we agreed upon to simulate the Immortals. That's 110 points.
So thinking 40 points over and above this advantage set? Making him a 150 point character.

OK, so cap out at 200 (150+50) but I don't have to take the full 50.
Any suggestions on the disads?
My thoughts:
Issues with Nomads seem likely, but not mandatory, at this early phase the villiage might be a permenant point with a lot of nomads coming through. . .not sure if there are cultural issues with established enemies.
How will time and disads play out? Like if he takes duty to family or duty to village will he have to pay those off once either is turned to dust by time?

I can see hunter/gatherer cultures raiding the outlying villages of the time, but not really the cities. A single wall would be enough to beat them with the limited weaponry and complete lack of seigecraft.
Family or dependent disadvantages will have to be bought off when they go away.

I'll likely stick to a lot of psych disads then, like loyalty and quirks and the like. I may still go with some duty related ties.
So the BG is general farming ala agriculture/herding with perhaps some hunting tossed in.
There are no horses until the Aryans arrive, so no riding skills but animal handling and the like.
TL3?

Oh heck no. Tech level 0-1 for overall. Still using stone axes and such. Bronze is not even in play yet. Medicine would be cl0oser to 1.

Just wondering what TL to attach to skills like "Armory" and the like.
Use TL1?
How do those work over time? once 1980 rolls around and we're battling with samurai swords at wrestling matches at Madison Square Garden, would these characters end up having a slew of the same skill smeared out over a bunch of TLs?

Hmmm. Why yes, yes I believe they would. That would be the most logical thing from my point of view.
My thoughts are, either you take someone's head who has the same skill at a higher tech level, and you just update your tech level, or you would have to buy it all over again.
What is your opinion?

Depends on what the TLs mean. . .no books here at work, what do the TLs translate to mean?

So we're really TL0? Or does it vary by category, like you can have TL0 weapons and TL1 medicine kinda things?
I like the TL4 medicine, gonna buy me like 10 levels of that.
Makes sense that with TL0 armory you can maintain or sharpen a flint spear, while at TL3 a steel spear, and at TL5 a rifle. . . .
