The March issue of the Guild Companion is up at http://www.guildcompanion.com

We have two articles this month, one introduces some interesting optional rules & skills to expand the flexibility of melee combat, while the second provides a" Death Critical" table.

We are also looking at expanding our coverage to other game systems such as HERO and others.  So please let us know here what other systems you would like to see information on.  In the past we would do reviews of other games, however these were few and far between and we generally did not provide coverage beyond that to anything produced by any other company than ICE.

However we are hoping to expand our coverage and in the process our readership, by providing articles for other game systems.  So if you have an idea for an article for any of the ICE products or nearly any other small-press (non d20) games be sure to submit them to us at: guild-edit@silent-tower.org

You came to the right place for non d20. . . .Is there any restriction other than that, or any systems in particular you're looking for?

Hoping to expand our coverage into whatever our readership is interested in reading about.  As such, most of our content is reader submitted.  Due to legal issues there are a few things we can't or won't cover, but for the most part anything that isn't going to cause us legal headaches is fair game.

Is there a legal issue in stating what systems you have found you have legal issues with?
I'm sorry, but I fumbled my "think of clever signature" roll.

Perhaps Palladium, as that company doesn't like people publishing material related to their systems, free or not, they consider it an IP problem and take legal action? (just guessing).

Celedor's statement kind of summes it up.  It is simply a matter of avoiding any legal issues, thus any system that may try to bring charges agains The Guild Companion due to IP content.

As far as what systems, it is simply a matter of if we get a submission for a system that we have not already covered, we will evaluate (and possibly contact the publishers to ensure that we aren't stepping on any toes so to speak) if there is any risk of legal action or other damaging ramifications.

When Celecor mentioned Palladium, that is probably a good example, as they have a pretty good system (I used it and enjoyed it years ago), but if they don't like people publishing anything related to their system we won't do so.

They (Palladium) have issues with third-party publication.

Been there, have the email for a "Do Not Publish" on an article.

Best wishes,
