How easy is it to learn? How realistic is it?

Well, it's percentile based with very few skills. So I would say it's pretty easy to learn. If I play it will be with the original hit location and facing rules, which is just a few tables.
Actually most of the rulebook is taken up with information, like how to dig trenches, etc.
