Twilight Voices - Victorian Age Vampire
« on: June 10, 2014, 10:36:42 AM »

"Now, at the hour when ignorant mortals
Drowse in the shade of their whirling sphere,
Heaven and Hell from invisible portals
Breathing comfort and ghastly fear,
Voices I hear;
I hear strange voices, flitting, calling,
Wavering by on the dusky blast,—
'Come, let us go, for the night is falling;
Come, let us go, for the day is past!' "
-William Allingham

Twilight Voices is a Play-by-Post Vampire: The Masquerade game. We have recently been created and are looking for new players to join us. The game is creative writing based, so you need not be completely (or at all) familiar with the V:tM rules to participate. We are looking for players who love to write and enjoy the horror and gothic elements of the time period.

Drawing inspiration for the great writers of the Victorian Era, Twilight Voices yields to the mysteries and horror of the supernatural. Many of the storylines will be investigation and intrigue based and from their conclusions, new character dramas and political games will surely be born. Being that Twilight Voices is centered on the Camarilla and the social-political aspects of the V:tM system, there will be grasps for power, death and humiliation for all involved.

Twilight Voices is based on Vampire: the Masquerade 3rd edition and the Victorian Age core book. While we use these rules as a guideline, the game is heavily focused on creative writing, rather than just rolling dice. For this reason, we don't implement full sheets. What we have instead, is a very simple set up which focuses on Backgrounds and Disciplines, allowing the players to not be limited to certain things in game.
