As you notice I go with the lesser noble and a "No Profession" profession.
But don't be disapointed if there is not that much spell acquisation on my side (I will ;) )

The House might not be named  - in the beginning
Later it will be important when (not if) I'm crowned.  ::)

___

The head of the house has time to listen to the wife who claims to have his grandchild with her.
So his son just impregnated another woman.

It feels good to talk to this moocher before he himself meet the other nobles.

He will decide afterwards if they disappear or "just disappear".

But the young woman argues her case very well - not for her but for her son.
If the offspring is ambitious as his mother the loins of his son might have been good for something - finally.

"Your boy stays with you, but I will take care of him, give him advice
and he will earn his place on my table."

I took a stab at starting a character sheet for you,  I just assigned the stats as I saw fit, but feel free to change them any way you like.  I used rouge and burglar as a template; although, if burglar is really the way you want to go, thief might be a better choice.  I also picked a few secondary skill and linked them to the stats and costs.  Again please feel free to change as you see fit.

I will take a look at that,
but I am sure about playing a "No Profession" profession.*

In the beginning I thought to go with Mentalism ('cause of the armor wearability),
but I think that Essence might be better (in town armor isn't worn often).

____
*influenced by my grandpa ...

Your first draft (a rogue) reminded me of my original concept.
So I build a thief.

Here is the adolescence-development.
Only Stalk& Hide and Perception got 2 ranks, all other only one ...

"Dance Folk" is like making party with the common people,
while "Dance Noble" is also etiquette with them.

Administration, Dance Noble and the like are taught to Bug by a servent of his grandpa.

And yes I know I could optimize the stats ...
